About Theodore Wells

Ted is a Partner with the firm.  He focuses his practice on construction law and commercial litigation. He represents general contractors, subcontractors, property owners, and developers in litigation about construction defect claims, mechanic’s lien disputes, construction payment disputes, and common-interest community (HOA) disputes.  Ted also represents property owners and construction professionals with the negotiation and drafting of construction contracts and subcontracts.

Before joining Allen & Curry, Ted clerked for the Honorable Nancy M. Saitta of the Nevada Supreme Cour where researched and analyzed a broad variety of complex legal issues, including numerous matters of first impression before the Nevada Supreme Court. Ted graduated cum laude from Northwestern University School of Law where he served as the Executive Articles Editor of the Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business.
